Kyary Pamyu Pamyu (きゃりーぱみゅぱみゅ)

Kyary Pamyu Pamyu is a Japanese pop singer and model from Nishitōkyō-shi, Japan, born on January 29, 1993. Built on Harajuku culture and a brightly stylized visual identity, she debuted in 2011 and quickly became one of the most recognizable names in modern Japanese pop. Her music blends J-pop, electropop, and dance-pop, and her early recordings on Warner Bros. Records were shaped by producer Yasutaka Nakata of Capsule. She broke through with "PonPonPon," and songs such as "Fashion Monster" and "Ninjari Bang Bang" reinforced her mix of catchy hooks, polished electronic production, and surreal, fashion-forward visuals. Alongside music, she has worked in modeling, fashion, and media, while her theme-song work helped connect her with anime audiences and other pop-culture projects. In June 2026, Kyary Pamyu Pamyu released "Kimi ni 100 Percent - From THE FIRST TAKE" as a digital single, extending the theatrical, whimsical identity that has defined her career and making her a standout name for listeners searching for anime-adjacent J-pop and eccentric pop performance.
