Kiyoe Yoshioka

Kiyoe Yoshioka is a Japanese singer and the lead vocalist of Ikimonogakari, a J-pop group that grew out of local performances in the late 1990s. Born on February 29, 1984, in Atsugi, Japan, she is known for a clear, expressive voice and for delivering melodic pop songs built on bright hooks, heartfelt lyrics, and accessible arrangements. As Ikimonogakari's frontwoman, Yoshioka helped shape a sound that became a regular presence on Japanese radio and television. Her work with the group is especially important in anime music: "Blue Bird" for Naruto Shippuden introduced her voice to a wider international audience and remains one of the band's best-known anime themes. Beyond Ikimonogakari, she has also pursued solo activity, showing a more personal side of her artistry. In 2026, Yoshioka also appeared in notable collaboration projects with Kaori Kishitani and BONNIE PINK, and she took part in Ikimonogakari's 20th-anniversary festival, underscoring her continued presence in contemporary Japanese pop and anime-related music.
