Kishidan (氣志團), meaning "The Knights", is a Japanese rock band formed in 1997 and fronted by Show Ayanocozey. Their sound blends j-pop, pop punk, and pop rock, while their stage image is defined by energetic performances, catchy songs, a vivid retro aesthetic, and Japanese school uniforms inspired by bousouzoku culture.
The band rose to prominence in the late 1990s by pairing theatrical presentation with straightforward rock energy, and its live presence helped build a loyal following in contemporary Japanese rock. Show Ayanocozey also performed as DJ OZMA, a persona he retired in December 2008, adding another layer to Kishidan’s public identity and related performance projects. In January 2009, the group announced a comeback after a three-year hiatus; it had not officially disbanded and had focused on other projects, including Show's work with Hikaru in DJ OZMA. Kishidan has also been associated with EMI Music Japan, and in June 2026 it wrote the drama theme song "Bōsō Tenshi" for Ochitara Owari, marking its first theme song for a Nippon TV drama.
