Biography
Kazuki Kato is a Japanese actor and singer from Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, best known for his role as Daisuke Kazama, also known as Kamen Rider Drake, in Kamen Rider Kabuto and as Keigo Atobe in The Prince of Tennis musicals. His career spans stage performances, television, film, internet productions, DVDs, and photobooks, and he remains closely associated with Japanese live-action entertainment through both acting and singing.
On stage, Kato has appeared as Keigo Atobe in The Imperial Match Hyotei, The Imperial Match Hyoutei in Winter, Dream Live 3rd, Advancement Match Rokkaku feat. Hyotei Gakuen, Dream Live 4th (Video Performance), and The Imperial Presence Hyoutei Gakuen feat. Higa Chuu. He also took part in bambino+ (Video Performance) as Nazo no otoko (The secret man) and in babino2(due) as Aoyama Ryuichi, showing a strong and recurring connection to The Prince of Tennis musical productions.
On television, he portrayed Daisuke Kazama/Kamen Rider Drake in Kamen Rider Kabuto, Ichimoku Ren in Jigoku Shoujo, Teshima Makoto in Hotaru no Hikari, and appeared in Cafe 吉祥寺で (2008).
