Kazuki Kato

Kazuki Kato is a Japanese actor and singer from Nakagawa-ku, Nagoya, Aichi Prefecture, born on October 7, 1984. Signed to Avex Trax, he works in pop and rock and has built a career that connects live-action drama, stage musicals, and music-oriented releases. He is especially familiar to anime and tokusatsu audiences for playing Daisuke Kazama, also known as Kamen Rider Drake, in Kamen Rider Kabuto, while his stage work made him a regular presence in The Prince of Tennis musicals. On stage, Kato has appeared as Keigo Atobe in The Imperial Match Hyotei, The Imperial Match Hyoutei in Winter, Dream Live 3rd, Advancement Match Rokkaku feat. Hyotei Gakuen, Dream Live 4th (Video Performance), and The Imperial Presence Hyoutei Gakuen feat. Higa Chuu. He also took part in bambino+ (Video Performance) as Nazo no otoko (The secret man) and in babino2(due) as Aoyama Ryuichi. On television, he portrayed Daisuke Kazama/Kamen Rider Drake in Kamen Rider Kabuto, Ichimoku Ren in Jigoku Shoujo, Teshima Makoto in Hotaru no Hikari, and appeared in Cafe 吉祥寺で (2008). His film credits include Kamen Rider Kabuto: God Speed Love, Kamen Rider The Next as Shiro Kazami/Kamen Rider V3, The Monster X Strikes Back/Attack the G8 Summit, Kamigakari (2008), ＨａＰＰＹダーツ (2008), Neko Rahmen Taisho (2008), and Koikyokusei (2009). Beyond screen and stage work, Kato’s related releases include the DVDs 55mm, Shinrei Shashin Kitan, Kazuki Kato Live"GIG"2006, and Kazuki Kato 1st Anniversary Special Live "GIG" 2007, plus the photobooks Voyage, Kato Kazuki Artist Book SINGER-Rough Diamond-, and Kato Kazuki 1st Anniversary Book BREAK!. In 2026, he marked 20 years as an artist with a mini-album and Blu-ray/DVD release, held his first orchestral concert, and contributed to the theme song for Kamen Rider Kabuto 20th V-Cinema.
