Kanaria (born May 30, 2002) is a Japanese Vocaloid producer, songwriter, musician, and VTuber associated with electropop and J-pop. Using Hatsune Miku, Kanaria began activity on May 10, 2020 with the song "百鬼祭". Three months later, Kanaria rose to prominence with "KING".
Emerging in the early 2020s, Kanaria drew attention in the Vocaloid scene for songs built around sharp hooks and dramatic synth lines. Their music also emphasized tightly arranged digital production, strong rhythmic momentum, catchy choruses, and vivid melodic contrast, often pairing polished pop writing with a darker, more urgent edge. "KING", "QUEEN", "EYE", and "MIRA" became closely associated with Kanaria, and later hits included "エンヴィーベイビー" and "酔いどれ知らず".
Kanaria’s music circulates widely in contemporary Japanese internet music culture through vocal synth performances, fan covers, playlists, and online communities. The albums King (2020) and Kanaria.code (2022) expanded that body of work. Kanaria also performed "Dainou-teki na Rendez-vous (大脳的なランデブー)", the ending theme of Chainsaw Man. In 2024, Kanaria began livestreaming activities with a Live2D avatar.
