Goose house

Goose house is a Japanese music collective and pop group formed in June 2010. Its name refers both to the group and to the shared house that served as its activity base, where singer-songwriters and other musicians gathered to write and perform together. After the Sony Walkman promotional project PlayYou.House ended, the same core members continued under the name Goose house, and the group resumed activity on YouTube in 2011. Over its history, Goose house worked with a rotating lineup of singers and instrumentalists rather than a fixed frontperson, with shared vocals and collaborative songwriting at the center of its approach. Members have included 関取花, 齊藤ジョニー, 神田莉緒香, 木村正英, d-iZe, 工藤秀平, 竹渕慶, 中村千尋, 竹澤汀, マナミ, 沙夜香, and ワタナベシュウヘイ. Musically, the group worked between ballad, J-pop, and pop. Its arrangements were built on layered harmonies, guitars, piano, and other acoustic textures. Goose house released its first full album, "Goose house Phrase #03 Wandering", in 2012, and made its major debut in 2014 with "Goose house Phrase #08 オトノナルホウヘ→". In anime, it performed "Oto no Naru Hou e→ (オトノナルホウヘ→)", the ED of "Gin no Saji", and "Hikaru Nara", the OP of "Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso". Goose house is currently inactive, and former members later continued collaborative activities through Play.Goose.
