Genin wa Jibun ni Aru. (原因は自分にある。) is a Japanese pop group formed in 2018 and signed to SDR. Since their formation, the group has built a steady career in Japan’s pop scene under an official project identity centered on the name Genin wa Jibun ni Aru., with a presence that has continued to grow through releases and live activity.
In 2026, the group announced its fifth single and shared live footage of "火宴" from its first arena tour, [仮ノ現], highlighting the scale of its recent live work. That same year also brought extra attention to individual members: Nakagawa Tsubasa and Sakuragi Masaya were announced as co-leads for Chotto Matsu yo, Harutora-kun, while Muto Jun reached No. 1 in the photobook category with his first photo book on Oricon. With an active debut dating to 2018 and a growing catalog of projects, Genin wa Jibun ni Aru. remains one of SDR’s most visible groups.
