Game Jikkyousha Wakuwaku Band (ゲーム実況者わくわくバンド)

Game Jikkyousha Wakuwaku Band (ゲーム実況者わくわくバンド) is a Japanese rock band formed in 2014 and active since 2014-03-02. On its official website, wkwkproject.com/wkwkband, the group is presented as bringing together five game commentators and performers: 湯毛, ぴらの, Fuji, Fullcon, and Seramikaru. Its name refers both to game commentators and to wakuwaku, a Japanese term for excited anticipation. The band began during a 2014 game実況 event, when the five members happened to cover each instrumental part and played together. From the start, its stage style combined live performance with game commentary. After briefly disbanding in April 2015, the group reunited in December 2015 and resumed activity with an April 2016 concert at duo MUSIC EXCHANGE. In 2017, it released its first album, 『わくわくフルデイズ』, and held a one-man live at Zepp DiverCity Tokyo. In January 2018, the band performed at 『ゲーム実況わくわくフェスティバル ver.5 ～武道館スペシャル～』 at 日本武道館. On March 7, 2018, it released its major-debut single "Denshin Tamashii (デンシンタマシイ)", which was used as an ending theme for "Naruto". From April 2, 2018 to December 27, 2019, it also hosted the AM radio program ニッポン放送「週刊わくわくエクストリーム」.
