DOMINO

DOMINO is a Japanese rock band that emerged in the early 2000s and built its identity around melodic hooks, driving guitars, and a pop-friendly edge. The band’s music combines the energy of J-rock with accessible songwriting, giving it a sound that is immediate without losing its distinct character. That balance is central to DOMINO’s appeal. Their arrangements lean into tight rock instrumentation while keeping the melodies memorable, which has helped the group connect with listeners who enjoy polished Japanese rock with a catchy finish. Over time, the band developed a following by pairing strong performances with songs built for repeat listening. DOMINO also has an anime connection through its opening theme for Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, a credit that underscores the band’s fit within anime music and its ability to deliver the momentum and atmosphere expected from an opening theme. In addition, the group has collaborated with various artists and composers, adding depth to its career and reinforcing its place in Japanese music.
