David Sylvian

David Sylvian (born 1958) is an English musician, best known as the singer and guitarist of the post-punk band Japan; he has subsequently had a long and eclectic solo career marked by a variety of collaborations with artists such as Robert Fripp and Ryuichi Sakamoto. He sang the first ending theme to the anime adaptation of Monster, which he composed in collaboration with Kuniaki Haishima (who scored the rest of the series).
