Biography
Dasoku (蛇足), born Kawamura Daisuke on March 2, 1977 in Hakodate, is a Japanese utaite, singer, streamer, and YouTuber. He began posting utattemita videos on Nico Nico Douga in 2008 and built his reputation in the online cover scene through Vocaloid songs, live sessions, and frequent direct interaction with viewers. Known for covering Vocaloid material with a relaxed, smooth vocal tone, he became closely associated with Nico Nico Douga and Vocaloid cover culture while maintaining a focus on song interpretation and online performance.
In 2010 he joined the male utaite unit PointFive（.5）. He later became the oldest member of √5, which made its major debut on December 14, 2011 with "MERRY GO ROUND" on avex trax and was renamed ROOT FIVE in 2014.
As his group activities continued, Dasoku also developed his solo work. He released his first album, 『蛇足』, in October 2012. On January 30, 2013 he released the single "Never Ending" through avex marketing as an ending theme for Kingdom, the TV adaptation of Yasuhisa Hara’s manga. In 2013 he also formed FREE蛇'M with samfree and released "伝心∞アンチェインド" through avex entertainment.
He announced in March 2015 that he would leave ROOT FIVE at the end of October and has since continued as a solo artist.
