Daisy x Daisy

Daisy x Daisy is a Japanese music project led by MiKA, also written as Daisyxdaisy and Daisy×Daisy. Formed in 2005, it began as a duo of MiKA and yuuki. During this first stage, its independent releases included the single "SOLID DREAM," the mini-albums "DAISY×DAISY," "pieces," and "fate," and the album "Genesis & Rebirth." In 2008, after yuuki’s departure, the project restarted as MiKA’s solo project. As a solo act, Daisy x Daisy works mainly in j-pop and pop-rock, with melodic vocals, guitar-driven arrangements, compact melodies, and songs closely tied to anime themes. In 2009, MiKA released "Brave your truth," the OP of "Koukaku no Regios"; the single reached No. 2 on the weekly Oricon Indies chart and No. 19 on the 2009 annual Oricon Indies chart. In 2010, Daisy x Daisy made its Pony Canyon debut with "HOLY SHINE," the ED of "Fairy Tail," and later also performed "Evidence" as an OP of "Fairy Tail."
