Czecho No Republic is a Japanese pop rock band formed in March 2010 around 武井優心 and 山崎正太郎, both formerly of Veni Vidi Vicious. The group played its first live show in Shimokitazawa on March 31, 2010. 吉田アディム joined in April 2010, and the band released the Tower Records-limited "erectionary" on Muffin Discs that November. 八木類 became an official member in February 2011, followed by the first nationally distributed single "Casually" in June and the first album "Maminka" in October. After the mini-album "DINOSAUR" in 2012 and 吉田アディム's departure that August, タカハシマイ and 砂川一黄, who had been supporting the band, became official members on January 1, 2013.
Czecho No Republic announced its move to Nippon Columbia during a 2013 one-man tour and made its major-label debut that October with the album "NEVERLAND". The follow-up "MANTLE" was released in July 2014 and reached No. 17 on the Oricon weekly albums chart. Among the band's later charting releases, the album "Santa Fe" reached No. 19, while the singles "For You" and "Oh Yeah!!!!!!!" reached No. 24 on the weekly singles chart. The band also performed "Forever Dreaming," an ED for "Dragon Ball".
