BLACK BISCUITS

BLACK BISCUITS is a Japanese J-pop group formed in 1997 out of the late-1990s television variety scene. The unit was created on the NTV program "Urinari!!" and brought together Hiroyuki Amano, Vivian Hsu, and Kiyotaka Nambara. Releasing music through BMG Japan, it developed as a media-driven project within mainstream entertainment, combining music and comedy rather than following a conventional band setup. In that sense, it reflected a 1990s Japanese crossover between pop music and television personalities. The group is best known for the hit single "Timing," also released as "Timing (タイミング)." It became one of the group's signature songs in Japan and later served as the ending theme for ReLIFE. The group's biggest releases remain closely associated with late-1990s Japanese pop culture.
