AYUSE KOZUE (鮎瀬梢; born January 13, 1985) is a Japanese singer-songwriter from Chiba Prefecture who has been active since 2006. She started dancing in junior high school, then began making music on an eMac after taking DTM classes in high school. She writes, composes, arranges, programs, and self-produces her own work, drawing on J-pop, rhythm and blues, and club music, and has described her style as "Rhythm & Beauty (R&B)."
Her songs came to the attention of TOWA TEI, who helped launch her major debut on Toy's Factory. After an advance analog release of "boyfriend" on February 25, 2006, the song was issued as her debut single on April 19. It was followed later that year by "pretty good" and "君の優しさ".
In 2007, she took part in the "TOWA TEI DJ 20th ANNIVERSARY TOUR". That same year, she released "eyes to eyes" as her first fully self-produced single, appeared on "10 Years feat. AYUSE KOZUE & SO-HEY!" by I THE TENDERNESS, and issued her first album, "A♥K". Later releases included "When I wish upon a star", "ONE", "こよいキミに恋をして", "Apple pie", and "Don't let you down". In 2009, she released her second album, "Simply Good".
