Aoi Teshima (手嶌葵), born June 21, 1987, in Kasuga, Fukuoka, is a Japanese singer and voice actress whose work bridges j-pop, film music, and anime-related performance. She is associated with Yamaha Music Communications and is best known for combining singing and voice acting in projects tied to animated cinema, which gave her a distinct place in Japan's anime and film music scene.
On June 7, 2006, Teshima released "Therru's Song" (Therru no Uta), which was used in Studio Ghibli's "Tales from Earthsea" (ゲド戦記, Gedo Senki), directed by Goro Miyazaki. She also voiced Therru in the same production, a dual role that introduced her to a wide audience and defined much of her public profile. Her anime-related work continued in 2025, when she performed the ending song for the anime "Once Upon a Witch's Death," and later in the year she was announced as the theme singer for the film "Hodonaku, Owakare desu" with the single "Amazing Grace."
