Ankou Team

Ankou Team (あんこうチーム) is a fictional vocal unit from Girls und Panzer centered on Miho Nishizumi and performed by Mai Fuchigami. Built around the series’ tankery theme, the unit represents the cast-music side of the franchise and brings together the characters Yukari Akiyama, Hana Isuzu, Miho Nishizumi, Mako Reizei, and Saori Takebe as a character-driven ensemble. Rather than functioning as a conventional pop act, Ankou Team belongs to the anime’s anison and character-song tradition, where voice performance and character identity are closely linked to the story. Its songs are known for upbeat, ensemble-oriented themes that support the energetic tone of Girls und Panzer and make the group a recognizable part of the series’ musical identity for fans of anime music, seiyuu-led performances, and franchise-related character songs.
