Anant-Garde Eyes is a Japanese music unit formed in 2008 by Ai Kamachi (蒲池愛) and nagie (Tatsuo Nagami, 永見竜生). The duo works primarily in composition and arrangement for anime music and other artist projects, and under the ANANT-GARDE EYES name they have centered much of their activity on arranging works composed by Jun Maeda. In 2010 they worked with Maeda on the background music for Angel Beats!, and their anime-related work has also included Mekakucity Actors and "Tasogare (黄昏)", the ending theme of Charlotte.
A long-running part of their career is their collaboration with singer Lia, for whom they have arranged many songs. Outside the ANANT-GARDE EYES name, Ai Kamachi and nagie have also worked as aikamachi+nagie, arranging songs for TOKIO and Ayumi Hamasaki as well as music for commercials and films, and they have released original albums. Rather than functioning as a conventional band, the duo has built its career mainly as a studio-based project focused on composition, arrangement, and anime-related production.
