Ami Maeshima (前島亜美)

Ami Maeshima (前島亜美; born November 22, 1997, in Saitama Prefecture) is a Japanese singer, voice actress, actress, former idol, and YouTuber. She passed the avex アイドルオーディション 2010 on June 12, 2010 and joined SUPER☆GiRLS at the group's formation. She later served as a member and leader, remaining with the group until graduating from SUPER☆GiRLS and iDOL Street on March 31, 2017. From 2011, she also pursued solo work alongside the group. During that period, she appeared as an exclusive model for the teen fashion magazine ピチレモン, released a solo photo book, and expanded into television dramas, television anime, and commercials. After leaving SUPER☆GiRLS, Maeshima began solo activities as an actress and voice actress. She made her voice-acting debut through BanG Dream! Girls Band Party as Aya Maruyama, a role that marked her shift toward character-based music and voice work. In late August 2022, she developed health problems. On November 30, 2022, she announced a hiatus from entertainment activities and her departure from avex management. She later resumed activities after transferring to ボイスキット on September 1, 2023, while continuing as Aya Maruyama in BanG Dream!. On August 26, 2024, she announced her solo artist debut with KING AMUSEMENT CREATIVE, and her first album Determination was released on November 20, 2024. Her later anime theme work includes "Fly Again!!" for Haibara kun no Tsuyokute Seishun New Game and "Kanpeki ja Nai Watashi" for Saijo no Osewa.
