ACIDMAN is a Japanese rock band formed in 1997 by Shiibashi Takeshi, Urayama Ichigo, Satou Masatoshi, and Ohki Nobuo. The group made two demo tapes in 1998, and vocalist Shiibashi Takeshi left in 1999; Ohki Nobuo then assumed the vocal role and became the group's leader.
The band’s music is associated with alternative rock and j-rock, while also incorporating punk influences. ACIDMAN was signed to Virgin Records and provided "Rebirth" as the opening theme for "Ahiru no Sora".
