AAAMYYY is the stage name of Honami 'Amy' Furuhara (古原穂奈美), a Japanese electronic musician born on February 5, 1991, in Kawakami, Nagano. Associated with Space Shower Music, she has built a career that moves between solo electronic work and collaborations across Japan’s electronic and alternative music scenes. Before launching her solo career, Furuhara was a member of the electronic pop groups Go Retro and Eimie. Those early projects placed her within a synth-driven, pop-oriented environment and helped establish the foundation for the artist she would become under the AAAMYYY name. In 2015, she began working with the psychedelic rock band Tempalay, and in 2018 she became an official member. That long-running collaboration became one of the defining parts of her career, linking her with a group known for its psychedelic rock edge while broadening the visibility of her own work. AAAMYYY started her solo career in 2017, adding another dimension to a path that already included band membership and collaborative work.
