9mm Parabellum Bullet is a prominent Japanese rock band from Yokohama, formed in March 2004. From the beginning, the group developed a reputation for explosive live performances and a sound that combines punk rock intensity with heavy metal edge, helping them stand out within the Japanese rock scene.
The band was initially signed to Capitol Music under EMI Music Japan, and later moved to EMI Records Japan after Universal Music Japan acquired EMI in 2013. Their lineup features Takurou Sugawara on vocals and guitar, Yoshimitsu Taki on guitar, Kazuhiko Nakamura on bass, and Chihiro Kamijou on drums, a formation that has defined the band’s tight and powerful core sound.
9mm Parabellum Bullet has also become well known among anime fans through its soundtrack work. One of their most recognized contributions is "Kyouran Hey Kids!!," the opening theme for Noragami Aragoto, which helped strengthen their connection to anime music audiences.
