Zombieland Saga

In Zombieland Saga, Sakura Minamoto's dream of becoming an idol ends in a fatal traffic accident, only for her to wake ten years later in Saga Prefecture as a zombie with no memory of her past. She soon discovers that she is one of seven girls resurrected by the mysterious and abrasive producer Koutarou Tatsumi, who has a single outrageous goal: save Saga's struggling economy by turning the dead into an idol group. Forced into brutal rehearsals, local promotions, and live performances that spiral into chaos, Sakura and the other zombie girls must learn to control bodies that no longer obey ordinary human limits while adjusting to the different eras and personalities they each bring to the group. Under the name Franchouchou, they balance deadpan comedy with idol spectacle, hiding their undead nature from the public even as their shows attract attention for all the wrong reasons. As the members spend more time together, fragments of their former lives begin to surface, and the group slowly turns into more than a publicity stunt. What starts as an absurd plan becomes a heartfelt story about second chances, friendship, and finding purpose in a place that had almost given up hope.
