Tsurune

Tsurune centers on Minato Narumiya, a gifted kyudo archer whose love for the sport began with the distinctive sound of the bowstring—the tsurune—when an arrow is released. After a painful incident at his last middle school tournament leaves him unable to shoot, Minato distances himself from the discipline that once defined him. That changes at Kazemai High, where a new kyudo club takes shape and reunites him with his childhood friends Seiya Takehaya and Ryouhei Yamanouchi. Alongside new teammates Kaito Onogi and Nanao Kisaragi, Minato is slowly drawn back toward the bow, while a mysterious archer forces him to confront what he left behind. Across the franchise, Kazemai's pursuit of the prefectural tournament and the competitions beyond it turns Minato's return into a wider team story. Under the guidance of Masaki Takigawa and in the shadow of archers such as Shu Fujiwara, the club faces the pressure, precision, and patience that kyudo demands.
