Tonikaku Kawaii

Tonikaku Kawaii follows Nasa Yuzaki, a brilliant student determined to leave his name in the history books. After ranking first in the national mock exam and aiming for a distinguished high school, he believes his future is already mapped out. But fate interrupts his plans on a snowy evening, when he spots a peerless beauty across the street, falls for her at first sight, and is immediately struck by an oncoming truck before he can reach her. Thankfully, the girl's quick action saves his life. Bleeding beside an ambulance, Nasa watches her disappear under the moonlight, a scene that reminds him of Princess Kaguya leaving for the moon. Refusing to let that chance meeting end there, he drags his injured body after her and asks her out. Surprised by his reckless resolve, the girl—Tsukasa—accepts his confession under one condition: they can only be together if he marries her. From that impossible promise, Tonikaku Kawaii turns Nasa and Tsukasa's first meeting into the beginning of an unusual married life, where an abrupt confession becomes a lasting bond and an ordinary daily routine slowly reveals how strange, earnest, and unexpectedly tender their relationship can be.
