Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san

In Tonari no Kyuuketsuki-san, rumors spread about an ageless girl who lives in a mansion deep in the forest and only appears at night. Some even claim she is a living doll with a soul. Fascinated by the story, Akari Amano sets out to find her and loses her way in the dark woods, only to be rescued by the very girl she was seeking: the vampire Sophie Twilight. Akari quickly discovers that Sophie has little in common with the predators of legend. She does not attack humans, prefers a quiet life indoors, and simply orders blood online. Akari is instantly captivated by Sophie's doll-like appearance and abruptly decides to move into her home, turning Sophie's solitary routine into a lively shared life. From there, the series follows their unusual domestic friendship as modern vampire habits collide with Akari's boundless enthusiasm. Other girls soon become part of their circle, including Sophie's fellow vampire Ellie and Akari's friend Hinata Natsuki, widening the cast around a comedy built on everyday routines, gothic quirks, and affectionate misunderstandings. Rather than horror, the story treats vampirism as part of a light contemporary slice-of-life world where online shopping, anime merchandise, and nocturnal housekeeping sit comfortably beside old supernatural folklore.
