Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko

In Hentai Ouji to Warawanai Neko, Youto Yokodera is a boy whose polite behavior and genuine concern for others make him look like the exact opposite of the lewd teenager he wants everyone to see. Frustrated that people keep misunderstanding him, he becomes fixated on changing the image he projects and sets out to find a way to alter that impression. His search leads him to a cat statue said to remove an unwanted trait from anyone who prays to it. When Youto makes his wish, he discovers that the statue does not simply erase a trait. Instead, it transfers that trait to someone else who wanted it even more, and the result is a chain of strange, messy consequences that reaches beyond his own life. As he tries to recover what he lost, Youto is forced to confront the gap between appearance and reality, and to deal with the damage caused by his selfish wish while helping the others caught up in the cat statue's power. The story follows the awkward comedy and emotional fallout created by that supernatural exchange, keeping the focus on Youto Yokodera and the people affected by the wish as they navigate the fallout together.
