Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru

Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru centers on Wakana Gojou, a high school student who spends his days mastering the craft of hina doll making in the hope of one day matching the skill of his grandfather, whose expertise he admires deeply. While his classmates drift through the latest pop culture trends, Gojou finds comfort in sewing and in the quiet discipline needed to dress his dolls, a hobby he keeps carefully hidden because he expects to be mocked for it. His routine changes when Marin Kitagawa, a dazzling and outspoken girl who seems to move effortlessly through school life, discovers what he can do with a sewing machine. Marin is the opposite of the shy, friendless Gojou in every way that matters, but she has a hobby of her own: cosplay. Because her own sewing skills are poor, she asks him to help her bring her costumes to life. As Gojou and Marin work together on one cosplay outfit after another, their worlds begin to overlap. What starts as a practical arrangement slowly turns into a partnership built on trust, admiration, and the unexpected closeness that grows between two people who once seemed far apart.
