Shugo Chara!

In Shugo Chara!, Amu Hinamori is a shy student at Seiyo Elementary whose classmates mistake her for a fearless, "cool and spicy" girl because of the image she has built around herself. One morning, she finds three brightly decorated eggs in her bed. From them hatch Ran, Miki, and Su, Guardian Characters that embody a person's possible self and dreams. Their arrival starts to bring out the side of Amu she has kept hidden, even as the Characters pull her into embarrassing and unpredictable situations she can no longer avoid. Amu's unusual bond with several Characters draws the attention of the Seiyo Elementary Guardians, a student council-like group whose members each have a Guardian Character of their own. Joined by Tadase Hotori, Nadeshiko Fujisaki, Kukai Souma, and Yaya Yuiki, she becomes the Guardians' "Joker" and helps track down X Eggs, corrupted Hearts Eggs linked to Easter Company and its search for the mysterious Embryo. As the mystery deepens, Amu's path crosses with figures such as Ikuto Tsukiyomi and Utau Hoshina, turning her struggle with self-expression into a larger conflict over identity, dreams, and the power hidden inside every heart.
