Sgt. Frog returns in 2026 with a brand-new Keroro Gunsou anime based on Mine Yoshizaki's manga, reviving the franchise's mix of science-fiction chaos and broad comedy. Keroro, the would-be leader of an alien invasion force from planet Keron, lands on Earth with Giroro, Tamama, Kururu, and Dororo, only for the mission to become entangled with everyday life around Fuyuki Hinata, Natsumi Hinata, and Aki Hinata. Instead of a swift conquest, the platoon stumbles into a running clash between extraterrestrial ambition and domestic routine, where every grand plan risks collapsing into slapstick disaster. Around that premise, Sgt. Frog builds an ensemble comedy in which the Keronian squad's clashing personalities drive as much trouble as any outside threat. Fuyuki and Natsumi anchor the human side of the story, while Aki Hinata keeps the household at the center of the aliens' latest schemes.
