Rokka no Yuusha

Rokka no Yuusha follows a legend in which the Goddess of Fate chooses six heroes—the Braves of the Six Flowers—when the Demon God revives, granting them the power to stand against the fiends that would turn the world into a living hell. Adlet Mayer, a self-proclaimed “Strongest Man in the World,” travels to the continent of Piena hoping to earn a place among those champions. Instead, his path leads him to Nashetania Loei Piena Augustra, the crown princess and one of the chosen Braves, and the two are drawn into a prophecy they cannot ignore. The pair sets out to reunite with the rest of their companions at a small temple outside the Land of the Howling Demons, the fiends’ domain. But when the Braves finally gather, there are seven people standing where only six should be, and suspicion falls immediately on Adlet. Hunted by the very allies he expected to fight beside, he must rely on his unusual skills and quick wit to stay alive, uncover the true impostor, and keep mistrust from destroying the group before they can face the Demon God’s threat.
