In Love Flops, the near future is shaped by advanced technology, and a popular AI fortune teller appears able to predict ordinary life with uncanny precision. For high school student Asahi Kashiwagi, that prediction comes true in the strangest way imaginable when, on his way to school, he crosses paths with Aoi Izumisawa, Bai Mongfa, Karin Istel, Amelia Irving, and Ilya Ilyukhin. By the end of the same day, all five girls confess their feelings to him, exactly as the fortune teller foretold.
What begins as an absurdly lucky coincidence quickly becomes even more complicated. Asahi learns that these five girls are not random strangers at all: they have been invited by his father to live in his home and are being considered as potential brides. With no easy way out, Asahi reluctantly lets them stay, and his quiet school life turns into a chaotic, bawdy cohabitation comedy filled with awkward encounters and growing emotional tension.
As time passes, however, the situation starts to feel less like a joke and more like a mystery. Forgotten memories begin to surface, and Asahi slowly realizes that the truth behind his connection to the girls may be deeper than chance, pushing him to question what fate has really brought to his doorstep.
