Radiant

In Radiant, Nemeses descend from the sky as monstrous threats that vaporize anything they touch, plunging the world into fear. The only people able to stand against them are Sorcerers: survivors of Nemesis encounters who were infected in the process and gained powers of their own, only to be met with suspicion and persecution by the society they protect. From Pompo Hills, Seth sets out with a single goal—to exterminate the Nemeses and uncover the truth behind their existence. He is joined by Doc and Mélie, fellow Sorcerers who share his ideals and his dream of a world where Sorcerers are no longer condemned for the infection that made them what they are. Together, they follow the legend of the mythical Radiant, the source said to lie behind the Nemeses themselves, and the promise that the mystery at the heart of their world may finally be answered. As their search expands, their struggle becomes more than a hunt for monsters. Seth’s determination, Doc’s knowledge, and Mélie’s resolve push them toward a future where Sorcerers might finally be accepted, and where the terror that falls from the sky can be understood and confronted before it destroys everything below.
