Plunderer

Plunderer is set in Alcia, a world where every person is born with a Count engraved on their body, and that number determines status, power, and ultimately survival. When a Count reaches zero, its owner is dragged into the feared Abyss. Hina, a young traveler whose own Count is measured by the distance she has walked, leaves home after her mother is taken there and sets out to find the legendary Aces, heroes from an ancient war marked by a white star. Her search leads her to Licht Bach, a masked man with a negative Count whose existence suggests that Alcia's laws are not what they claim to be. As Hina and Licht move deeper into the conflict hidden beneath the Count system, they find themselves caught between the Abyss, the legacy of the Aces, and the secrets that have shaped the world for centuries. Plunderer blends adventure, fantasy, and mystery into a story about a society ruled by numbers, the people trapped by them, and the truth lurking behind the power that keeps Alcia alive.
