Overflow centers on university student Kazushi Sudou and the Shirakawa sisters, Ayane and Kotone, as a small household grievance turns into an increasingly awkward domestic war. When Ayane discovers that Kazushi has forgotten her pudding and has also been using her special lotion in the bath, she decides to get back at him. The prank spirals after she storms in on him with Kotone in tow, and what starts as petty revenge quickly becomes a chain of embarrassing encounters that leaves all three trying, and failing, to keep their composure.
Across its brief run, Overflow stays inside their shared home and lets the tension between the three build through jealousy, embarrassment, and uneasy closeness. Rather than broad slapstick, it leans on cramped spaces, interrupted moments, and the discomfort of everyone involved being trapped in the same emotional mess. The result is a blunt, intimate comedy about three people who are far too aware of each other and have no clean way to defuse the situation.
