Outlaw Star

Outlaw Star follows Gene Starwind, a scrappy drifter on the small planet Sentinel III who dreams of commanding his own ship. He spends his days taking odd jobs with his practical partner, James Hawking, until a job from Rachel Sweet changes everything. Rachel turns out to be a treasure-hunting outlaw, and the assignment brings them into contact with a mysterious girl named Melfina. Once Gene and James agree to protect her, they are swept aboard the advanced ship Outlaw Star and launched into a dangerous search for the truth behind Melfina's origins. Across the galaxy, the crew's search draws them into clashes with bounty hunters, space pirates, and Taoist mages, while the odd corners of the frontier bring them face to face with catgirls and other strange figures. Blending science fiction, action, and offbeat humor, Outlaw Star follows Gene and his ragtag crew as they chase answers, survive violent encounters, and stumble deeper into the mysteries that link Melfina to the future of the stars.
