In Oushitsu Kyoushi Heine, Heine Wittgenstein arrives at the royal palace of Grannzreich with an assignment that has already defeated countless tutors: he must teach the kingdom's four princes and prepare them for the responsibilities of the throne. Small in stature but formidable in intellect and composure, Heine quickly discovers that winning over the princes will take more than lessons. Licht, the flirtatious youngest prince, hides his immaturity behind easy charm; Leonhard, his older brother, is impulsive and difficult to handle; Bruno, the third prince, is studious and measured; and Kai, the eldest, keeps everyone at a distance with his reserved nature.
As Heine tries to earn each brother's trust, the palace becomes a stage for comedy, class tension, and quiet character drama. The daily lessons gradually reveal both the strengths and insecurities of the royal heirs, while hints of Heine's mysterious past and the darker currents inside Grannzreich suggest that his job is tied to more than etiquette or politics. What begins as a simple tutoring post soon becomes a delicate balancing act between mentorship, loyalty, and survival.
