Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu

Ore, Twintail ni Narimasu follows first-year high school student Souji Mitsuka, whose devotion to twintails goes far beyond simple preference. He treats the hairstyle as the highest form of beauty, spends his school life daydreaming about it, rating girls' hairstyles, and even founding a club devoted to twintails. That eccentric fixation suddenly becomes the center of his life when monsters from outer space invade Earth and announce that they want the world's twintails for themselves. A mysterious woman named Twoearle pulls Souji into the conflict and grants him the power to transform into Tail Red, a twin-tailed warrior who can stand against the alien threat. Souji soon discovers that the enemy is Ultimegil, a vicious organization determined to colonize Earth and drain everyone's spiritual energy, or "attribute power." Joined by fellow twin-tailed fighters Aika Tsube and Erina Shindou, he must protect both the planet and the hairstyle he loves while facing an invasion that is as absurd as it is dangerous. The series turns that bizarre premise into a long-running battle of will, with Souji forced to defend twintails not just as a preference, but as a symbol of the world he wants to save.
