Nanatsu no Maken ga Shihai suru

Reign of the Seven Spellblades opens at Kimberly Magic Academy, where survival matters as much as spellcraft and only four out of five students are expected to make it to graduation in one piece. Impressed by Nanao Hibiya's skill with a sword, Kimberly instructor Theodore McFarlane saves the samurai from certain death amid a fierce battle, and his encouragement leads her to enroll at the academy. There, Nanao quickly becomes a celebrity after she and four of her peers save a student from an enraged troll, drawing attention to the dangerous world hidden behind Kimberly's polished walls. Under the leadership of Oliver Horn, a young man who seems to hide a troubled past, Nanao and her newfound friends begin their magical apprenticeship at Kimberly.
