Myself; Yourself follows Sana Hidaka, who leaves the quiet town of Sakuranomori for Tokyo after his parents’ business plans take him away from the friends he grew up with. Before he goes, he says goodbye to Aoi Oribe, the Wakatsuki twins Shuri and Shuusuke, and the warm, caring Nanaka Yatsushiro, carrying with him the promise that the bond between them will last even across the years.
Five years later, Sana returns at 16, hoping to recover the ordinary days he left behind and reconnect with the people who once shaped his world. Instead, he finds a hometown that is both familiar and changed: friendships have drifted in different directions, feelings that were never properly voiced linger beneath everyday conversations, and each of his old friends has been quietly carrying private burdens of their own. The reunion forces Sana to confront how much time has altered the group, and how fragile childhood promises can become when they are left to memory alone.
Blending nostalgia, romance, and emotional drama, Myself; Yourself traces the difficult path back to trust as Sana and the others decide whether the ties formed in childhood can still endure into the present.
