MM! follows Taro Sado, a first-year high school student whose masochistic impulses repeatedly turn ordinary school life into public humiliation. Hoping to fix the problem, he follows his cross-dressing friend Tatsukichi Hayama into the Second Voluntary Club, an odd after-school group that quickly becomes the center of his increasingly chaotic routine.
Inside the clubroom, Taro is drawn into the orbit of Mio Isurugi, the club leader who insists she is a god yet panics at the sight of cats; Arashiko Yuuno, who cannot stand being near men; and adviser Michiru Onigawara, a sadist who delights in making others cosplay. Their meetings spiral into misunderstandings, dares, and escalating embarrassment, with each attempt to solve one problem creating several more. Classmates like masseuse Yumi Mamiya and invention club president Noa Hiiragi only add more fuel to the chaos.
Blending fast-paced school comedy, eccentric personalities, and relentless clubroom antics, MM! keeps its focus on how far Taro will go to overcome his condition while the people around him keep dragging him deeper into trouble.
