Meitantei Precure!

Pretty Cure follows Anna Akechi, a second-year junior high student in Makoto Mirai Town, whose 14th birthday pulls her into a strange time-travel mystery. After she meets the fairy Pochitan and touches a magical pendant, Anna is suddenly sent from 2027 back to 1999, stranded in the very same town nearly thirty years earlier. There she meets Mikuru Kobayashi, a girl her age who dreams of becoming a great detective. As the two girls try to understand how Anna ended up in the past, Makoto Mirai Town is shaken by a string of disappearances: prized possessions are stolen right from under the residents’ noses, and a group of Phantom Thieves moves in the shadows behind the chaos. To protect the town, Anna and Mikuru transform into Precures and tackle each clue like a new case, following every lead in search of the truth. As the secrets of Makoto Mirai Town come to light, Anna keeps chasing a way back to her own time, hoping the mystery behind the thefts will also lead her home.
