Mebius Dust unfolds in the aftermath of 2.29, the day a group of Möbius meteorites fell to Earth on February 29, 2000. From that event came Möbius Dust, a substance that dissolves into the air and can trigger miracles known as Rams, turning some people into Rams Carriers. The phenomenon reshapes everyday life, but it also sharpens the fault lines running through Japan: economic disparity widens, resentment hardens, and terrorism emerges from people who reject the unequal world that follows.
In response, the police create a special force to fight those attacks and establish a school to train future members. Araki Tomori, his younger sister Stella Tomori, and their childhood friend Olga Shiratori come of age inside that changed society, where extraordinary power is inseparable from fear, control, and political violence. Their lives intersect with Professor Shinri Yuda, who studies Rams, and with other youths including Kai Kinami, Shousei Isora, Haruto Kagari, Kurusu Kotobuki, Spica Kotobuki, and Kei Tsurugi. As their training, loyalties, and abilities are tested, the series follows a generation shaped by miracle-born power and the instability it leaves behind.
