Mayoiga

Mayoiga centers on a busload of eccentric strangers heading toward the urban legend of Nanaki Village, a place said to let anyone start over and live a perfect life. Each passenger has a different reason for believing the village exists, and each carries a different theory about why it cannot be found on any map or located by the police. Even so, they all cling to the same hope: that somewhere beyond the road is a chance to begin again. After a string of mishaps, the group finally reaches Nanaki Village, only to discover that it is deserted and appears to have been vacant for at least a year. As they explore the empty settlement, buried secrets begin to surface and some of the travelers start disappearing. In the surrounding forest, bloody claw marks deepen the sense that something is stalking them. Fear, suspicion, and infighting soon spread through the group, turning the search for answers into a tense struggle to uncover the truth behind the lost village before it swallows them as well.
