Synopsis
Mashiro-iro Symphony follows a tense social experiment at Yuihime Girls' Private Academy, where a merger with the coeducational Kagamidai Private Academy forces both schools to confront their long-standing separation. Rather than sending Kagamidai's boys into Yuihime all at once, the administration tries a trial run by placing a small group of test male students inside the girls' academy first.
One of those boys is Shingo, an unlucky newcomer who is effectively thrown in as a sacrificial lamb. Yuihime's students are hardly thrilled to see him, and his daily life quickly becomes a test of patience, diplomacy, and survival as he tries to navigate suspicious classmates, awkward misunderstandings, and the friction between two very different school cultures.
As the merger moves forward, the experiment becomes more than a simple exchange of students. Shingo is pulled into a romantic comedy built on shifting friendships, stubborn pride, and the slow possibility that the girls may learn to accept the boys on equal terms. Even the kind of embarrassing, panties-related mishap that can set tempers flaring becomes enough to spark fresh arguments, fresh bonds, and the kind of battle of the sexes that threatens to explode at any moment.
