Hataraku Maou-sama!

Hataraku Maou-sama! opens with the Demon Lord Satan launching his campaign to conquer Ente Isla with his vast demon armies, only to be driven back by the hero Emilia and hurled through a dimensional portal into modern-day Tokyo. Stranded in a world without magic and accompanied by his loyal general Alsiel, Satan is forced to abandon conquest for survival as he takes on the human identity of Sadao Maou and begins working at MgRonald's, a local fast-food restaurant, to make ends meet. What starts as a desperate attempt to recover his power becomes an oddly grounded new battle: learning how to live in a world where rent, schedules, and customer service matter more than spellcraft. As Sadao settles into ordinary life, he realizes that his ambition to reclaim Ente Isla is no longer enough. He sets his sights on something even bigger, determined to climb the corporate ladder and become the ruler of Earth, one satisfied customer at a time, while juggling part-time work, household chores, and the everyday frustrations of being a hapless demon lord. Blending supernatural rivalry with workplace comedy, Hataraku Maou-sama! turns the mundane routines of modern life into a hilarious test of pride, patience, and survival.
