Koko wa Ore ni Makasete Saki ni Ike to Ittekara 10 nen ga Tattara Densetsu ni Natteita. follows Luck, a sorcerer who holds back a demon assault long enough for his friends to escape, fully expecting to die on the battlefield. Instead, he survives an unrelenting barrage of enemies, defeats the demon commander, and discovers that ten years have passed since that desperate stand. The ordeal has also left his body aged back to the point that he now looks like a teenager, forcing him to face a world that moved on without him. When Luck finally reunites with the hero Eric Imgard Mendirival and the warrior Goran Morton, he learns that they believed him dead and preserved his memory as that of a hero while preparing to confront the rising demon threat themselves. Luck, however, wants nothing more than a quiet, easy life. Taking on the name Lock, he registers as a novice adventurer and begins traveling with new companions, trying to stay out of the spotlight even as the legend of his last stand continues to shape the world around him.
