Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun follows Aoyama, a charming, cool, athletic, and gifted cook whose spotless habits make him stand out at Fujimi High School. Admired by his classmates, he still keeps people at a distance because of his mysophobia, even as he joins the school soccer club, a place where mud, sweat, and constant close contact are unavoidable. As the playmaker for Fujimi's underdog team, Aoyama refuses physical contact at all costs and relies on immaculate dribbling, quick judgment, and an almost obsessive sense of order to steer play around the chaos of the pitch. His unusual style is tested again and again as the team pushes toward Nationals, with every match forcing him to balance his need for cleanliness against the demands of the sport.
