Kemono Friends

Kemono Friends is set in Japari Park, a gigantic integrated zoo shaped by the mysterious sand star, where human-like animals known as Friends live across savannahs, forests, and other habitats. The park feels like an untamed paradise, with landmarks and attractions spread through its natural environment, yet its cheerful surface hides something stranger beneath it. One afternoon in the savannah, Serval meets a peculiar new Friend named Kaban and quickly decides to help her search for the answer to what species she is. Kaban does not know either, so the two travel through Japari Park toward the park library, meeting many other Friends along the way and helping them with their daily lives. Their route links the park’s habitats, turning each encounter into another clue about Japari Park itself and its secrets. As their journey continues, they gradually uncover the sinister reality behind the park and the nature of their own existence.
