Demi-chan wa Kataritai

In Demi-chan wa Kataritai, biology teacher Tetsuo Takahashi seems like an ordinary educator, but he has a quiet fascination with the Ajin, better known as Demi: half-human, half-monster people who live alongside humans yet remain difficult to truly understand. Convinced that books can only explain so much, he looks for a closer way to learn about them through everyday conversation and shared experiences at Shibasaki High School. His curiosity quickly turns into a warm routine with three Demi students: Hikari Takanashi, an energetic vampire; Kyouko Machi, a gentle dullahan; and Yuki Kusakabe, the shy snow woman. Takahashi also meets another teacher, Sakie Satou, a succubus with an aversion toward men. By conducting casual interviews and spending time with the girls, he learns more about their abilities, their personalities, and the way each of them fits into human society. As their bonds deepen, the series blends school comedy with a thoughtful look at how the Demi live, connect, and make themselves understood.
